'Dead of the Day' by The Good Bits
48-Hour Film Festival
Camera and Editing Assistant
I was part of The Good Bits team for the 48-Hour Film Festival, an intense but incredibly rewarding experience.
Our assigned theme was fantasy, which set the stage for our brainstorming session, where every team member contributed ideas. After refining our concept and direction, the writers worked through the night to complete the script.
The next morning, filming began. My role involved assisting with camera work, ingest and editing. We wrapped up shooting at midnight, and post-production kicked off the following morning. I was responsible for designing and animating the opening titles and credits.
We were named runners-up in the Auckland City Finals and earned a spot as finalists in the Grand National Final.
